This site was inspired by "The Book of Household Management", by Isabella Beeton (1861).
Her much celebrated work gave advice on everything needed to
run a household. She collated information on food, cooking, dealing
with tradesmen, family medicine and managing home finances.
Although much of her advice still holds true today, a lot has
changed since 1861. It seemed like an updated online equivalent
would be of value.
On this site you will find tips and advice on running your household,
your family, and your finances.
If you have any tips to contribute, please email
me and I will be happy to add them to the site.
